Welcome to Rushed-In. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

Rushed-In provides a self-service check-in kiosk platform for salons, spas, and beauty establishments in the United Kingdom. Our service includes:

  • iPad/tablet-based kiosk interface for client check-ins
  • Integration with third-party booking systems (Square, Calendly, Acuity)
  • Real-time dashboard for salon staff
  • Automated appointment matching
  • Walk-in client registration

2. Subscription Terms

Free Trial: New users receive a 1-month free trial period. No payment information is required to start your trial.

Paid Subscription: After the trial period, the service costs £9.99 per month, billed automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations, including GDPR
  • Not share your account access with unauthorized parties
  • Provide your own iPad or compatible tablet device

4. Data Protection & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your data and your clients' data in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. Our data processing practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

You remain the data controller for any client data collected through our platform. We act as a data processor on your behalf.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Our service integrates with third-party booking platforms (Square, Calendly, Acuity). You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining valid accounts with these third-party services
  • Complying with their respective terms of service
  • Ensuring you have proper authorization to connect these accounts
  • Any fees charged by third-party services

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, which may temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any business losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

  • Rushed-In is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to user error or third-party failures

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Rushed-In are owned by us and protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, you will lose access to the service and all associated data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
